The NULEXA Influenza + SARS Test is an automated rapid multiplex real-time, reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test performed on the NULEXA Instrument for the simultaneous qualitative detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and influenza B from symptomatic patients using an anterior nasal swab. The test is CLIA-waived, enabling non-lab-certified staff to run it at point-of-care settings.
The proprietary cartridge design contains all necessary reagents and independent reaction chambers for each target, requiring no special handling. Plus, each test cartridge contains an internal Sample Process Control to ensure adequate sample collection and processing, and to verify that the RT-PCR reaction conditions are optimal for the amplification process.
