Dr. Joe El-Khoury, PhD, DABCC, FADLM
Professor of Laboratory Medicine at Yale School of Medicine, and Director of the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory and fellowship program at Yale-New Haven Health
Dr. Joe El-Khoury, is a Professor of Laboratory Medicine at Yale School of Medicine and serves as Director of the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory and fellowship program at Yale-New Haven Health. Board certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry and a fellow of the Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine Academy, he is actively engaged in advancing the field through leadership and scholarship, including serving on the editorial boards of Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Biochemistry. He also chairs the IFCC Committee on Kidney Diseases and is Vice-Chair of the Faculty Advisory Council to the Dean at Yale School of Medicine. His contributions to clinical chemistry have been recognized internationally, including receiving the 2023 Young Investigator Award from the International Federation for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine.
