Brian Blaser is President and Chief Executive Officer of QuidelOrtho, bringing over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the in vitro diagnostics industry. At QuidelOrtho, he leads a global organization committed to advancing the power of diagnostics for a healthier future for all.

Prior to joining QuidelOrtho, Mr. Blaser spent 15 years at Abbott Laboratories, where he oversaw the company’s diagnostics business, spanning core laboratory, point-of-care, rapid and molecular diagnostics. He also served in key leadership roles across operations, finance and engineering at leading healthcare and technology companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Eastman Kodak and General Motors.

Mr. Blaser currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), is a member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Dayton and chairs the University of Dayton School of Engineering Advisory Council. Mr. Blaser holds an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from the University of Dayton.
